Ok so this weekend was the big YARD SALE!!!! We made over 800 bucks and sold a bunch of stuff.
2 weeks until we move home.
I am excited but will really miss my friends here.
All of the craft fairs are starting here and I do not want to miss them.

Moving April 28th

YES. We are moving home. At times I would like to think this seems like home now. I really hated this place when we first moved here and now I love it. After 2 years. It took some time.
I am excited to be closer to family and to be buying a home soon.
I got a new car to tool around in when we get back to. Working for OP should be intersesting after being gone for so long. I am sure nothing has changed.
I have a goal of having an ebay store part time besides working.

This week Greg did lots of homework and took a little break to see a movie star.
David Arquette was talking at the record store down the street from us. He has a new movie that he made.
He is a really sweet guy.
He did not have the wife and kid with though.
Atlanta, you never know what the day will bring.
Weather is beautiful at this time of year.
3 more weeks of working.I will miss Mia when we move. It will be nice to work with grownups again though.
Ahhhhh old friends here I come back. Get your Yard Sale groove on cuz Ann is coming back.

We are stuck here for the holdays. We miss the family and can not wait until next year when we will be home and be able to invite others to our new house. We are buying a home when we return home. I have been thinking about the house I want non stop for the past few months. I am SO excited. The doggies will have a yards and I a garden. I will have many a party there too! I need a kitchen that has a little breakfast nook just like my favorite apartment from years ago. Anyone see any good places under 200,000 shoot me an email.

My life here has been a struggle. Finally things are settling down. I have a great group of friends, a job that is fun and pays the bills and a craft group that is going well. It has been a while since i have written. Things are well. I love my new nanny job and Greg is still busy doing homework. I miss my friends and family as usual. Lately though I have been thinking of cutting my dreads. They are really long which is cool but that also means very heavy and sometimes hurt my head. I am on weight watchers and i figure once I reach my goal weight i will cut them. So for now i will still be LENORE the cartoon girl for halloween since she has dreads too.

Ok so I love it. I think being a nanny for a toddler is my calling. It is the best. Maybe I should of gone to school to teach like my mother did. So all is well. Greg is busy with homework and I have just been working regular hours and weekends off. All is well here. Weight watchers and I are friends. I have lost 3 pounds. We are walking daily and I plan to get down to 120. I am going about it the RIGHT way no more low carb crap! Yes healthy carbs but NOT no carbs. Anyways..... I am tired time to watch a movie.

I am excited and we are going to go on a little vacation. Greg has so much homework so Kristine and I are going to travel to Ashville and athens. It will be fun. NANNY ANNIE! Is coming to work. I am officially the nanny for a 2 year old little girl. It is kind of exciting. I am quitting whole foods and look forward to a caretaking job agian. I start on Aug 7th. It has been a hard year.

I am SO glad to be home. Had a great time in Minnesota but it is nice to be home. While on vacation our cat missed us so much that she decided to eat a sewing needle. It went all the way though her tongue and she is doing fine now but has a good size infection. It was there for days and no one knew. She could not eat either and for Aimelee that is a big thing not being able to eat. It set us back 325. but it was worth it. It made me wonder how far would I go to make one of my animals healthy agian. I just think that i can not put a price on our animals. It just can not be done. Nice to see you all! Back to cleaning the house .We are doing a whole home makeover now that we are home. No more needles anywhere except in my sewing box.

Things are going ok here in Atlanta. I really hate my job but that is nothing new. THe craft group is going ok. The doggies are hyper and happy as ever and Greg is stressed but somehow making it through that crazy school and I have hit 1 full year here. I am glad only one to go. I have made a couple good friends. One is Erin, she is lots of fun and we are a lot alike. Another is across the street directly and she is Ashley. We all made buttons on Weds with the craft group I have. We are all addicted and plan to walk to little 5 points on Sat to sell the buttons for 1.00 each. Maybe that will be my new job. I am sure it will not but It will be fun.
I am still addicted to northern exposure. Greg and I have been ordering it on netflix for the past month and we are almost done with the entire series. I LOVE IT!
When I come back to Mpls . I am going to get my degree as an LPN. I think it is time and I know I would like it. I just need to get ready to give shots.
Well Nothern exposure has just started. Off I go. Zoe has a new wardrobe. Check out her new cool sweater.

YEAH! Greg has this week and next off and I have next week off. We are spring cleaning our house from top to bottom. I am excited. I will be having my annual yard sale that weekend to. Always have to make room for more stuff. I am sending the need a new job vibe out there. Whole foods is just not my thing. I love the place but my position is just not what I am looking for. WOW what a great show. See now with my new job, which is getting better as the days go, I can watch good evening tv. It is so strange for me to be working such a regular schedule. Somedays it is nice getting home early but other days I would rather sleep in. The benefits alone are worth it because eventually Greg gets to get new glasses and he really needs them. It will be nice to have insurance. So things are getting better . I am looking forward to getting work done on my back.

Besides all of this my friend Charmane is moving to Berumuda next week. She is the wonderful lady that I have been cleaning for and running errands for. She is dying of cancer and it is such a sad thing. I will miss her. It was really nice to have such a great mom figure around. She asked me tonight to please take care of Steve .I started to think about what a big thing she is asking of me. I just know that she knows that I have been through the death of my mom and that in some way I may be able to help Stever get through it. I know I can help in someway. I already hope that I am. It is just so sad.
I am going to relax now. I miss you all, miss home. We are visiting home in June! I am excited. We are driving and Pierre is coming too! ann

Missing home

I go through this missing home everytime I get frustrated about my job. I think it is due to the fact that I miss my job in mpls and I can not find a good one here. It is discouraging. Today I did not do much. I was off work. I woke up, watched martha stewart, got ready for the day and then ran errands. My friend Jeffery tried out agian for a cartoon. He would be the voice. He is my friend Dewberry that was on hells Kitchen. We are going to the first annual reality TV convention. It is in Nashville. It should be interesting since I do not watch much reality tv. A nice break from the city would be nice though. Greg has been plugging away at his homework. I really hope it is all worth it. Moving here and taking out all of these loans. It has to. So not much going on around here. Same old thing. The weather is about 62 today which is great for March. I miss the snow just a little though. love to u all, ann

Whole back pain is what I am having working there. It is mostly manual labor with less customer service. It is a bummer. I am going to keep with it and I hope to get moved to coffee bar very soon. I am glad to be done with the coffee house .It was getting to drama filled and to many rules that no one but me was following. I am waiting for Kristine to start making things and get in gear and we can do what we love! sew and create. I miss minneapolis as usual. I am off the next 3 days and my back needs it to heal. I am in bed with the compute this morning. Greg went to grab a book from the bookstore and I am here resting on a ice back for my back. Somedays I just really really wish that the back pain would go away. I am waiting for my friend Alec to call when the breakfast is ready and we are going over there to eat breakfast. It should be really good because Alec is a good cook. It is some sort or meal they eat a lot in Bermuda. They are really great people and I am really thankful to have met them. Charmane is their mother and I work with her on a daily basis to help when she needs it. We are going to the aquarium tomorrow with her, Steve, Alec and their 3 friends that are visiting. They are tripletes. It is pretty crazy. I better get up and get ready. Have a great sunday. I wonder when I will never be homesick. At least it is Jan 5 th today and It is about 50 degrees out! ann

My job is so frustrating

Ok so I have the job at a coffee house. I LOVED It and still love my customers. My boss thinks that we are all stealing which we are NOT and now she has decided she can pay me a dollar less an hour for 6 months to make up for the cost. The cost she is talking about is a tablespoon of peanut butter that I use about one time a week when I bring an apple with me. The place is turning CRAZY and I am on a active mission to find another job that I am appreciated. I is really sad for me though because I really loved working there but I can not work in such a negative environment. Hope you are are better. ann

Oh No it is an ICE Storm!!!!!!

Ok so now it is 11pm on a Weds night. It is about 40 degrees outside. While watching Wife Swap this evening (yes I watch it AND enjoy it!) the show was cut in by the news and fear of an ice storm. The weatherman said do not worry we are ready with 115 trucks to take care of the ice. Ice storms are nothing but to people that hardly ever see snow an ice storm is a crazy intense thing and shit people so NOT know how to drive in one. The cancell work, school and stores! I may not even have to go to work,who knows. The fact I work down the street and work at a cozy warm coffee house I think I will want to go. Unless all of the electricity goes out while then I may not want to go. Good luck to you all with the snow storms. We all know who the tuff ones are. I have been waiting for these days when I find out that back home is really really cold and there is a reason why I suffered through the heat here most of the summer. It has been an average of about 50 here. Which is not very cold. I do though feel myself becoming a wimp in this weather. I feel a chill today and it is 50. I have feeling kinda ill lately. I have been working ALL of the time. I have to catch up for the fact that we have been behind. This week I work about 50 hours which is not much but last week I did doubles 3 days so It was more like 70 hours! ouch! and every penny goes to Gregs school supplies. I keep on telling myself it is all worth it in the long run, It has to be.
I have been having my craft group. It went well last night. We made buttons with my friends delux button maker. I know want that one. It is so much easier than mine. Greg dropped us off while he ran errands for supplies for projects that he needs to make for school. It has been so nice having a friend here to hang out with. April is fun! We are going to have movie night tonight since it is her last day.Last night we went and saw the movie WAlk The line. It is a wonderful movie. I love mr.cash and it was great to see a movie about him. I think Johnny may be may favorite singer. I would recommend the movie to anyone. It was GREAT! have a good week. ann

These boots where in our yard like this for a week. I put them there wondering what people would think. I still do not know but I watched out the window to look at people as they where walking by. I think people did not think much of them since we are in little 5 points. Maybe I have to much time on my hands......ann

I have the day off. I have been doing nothing most of the day. Sometimes doing nothing is really nice. I have this new addiction to Martha Stewart. For some reason I like her now. Maybe since prision she has mellowed a little or something. I dont know why but I like her now. She has a great new am show and the apprentice at night. Anyways she has won me over somehow. I did not like her before so much. I could have something to do with the fact that I am realizing after trying so many crafty things lately that she is really a smart creative lady with a great gift! Crafting can be hard.
I do not have much to say today. Things are the same, I have been reading much more than usual. I will take some pictures and posting them today. ann

I am excited Kristine will be here next week. We are going to have a crafting and screenprinting week. It will be fun. I am all set. I even purchased a bunch of craft enyclopidias. They are actually really cool. Besides that I have been working and dreaming of a day when I can have my own garden, own house and another doggie. Soon enough I guess. Weather is getting better

So it is getting nicer outside here. It would be a perfect time for friends to visit. hint hint! I am starting to like where we live more and more each day. People here are pretty nice and the thrift stores are good too. But I miss my family. I want to open a store in Minneapolis buy a house and settle down. I want a garden and a backyard. I want lots more plants. It will all come in time. I have been making things though. I have this cute hippy skirt thing going on lately. Anyways I am tired from work. Greg is still at school screen printing these posters for this punk rock bar. ann

Fun Week!

It has been a good week. Gregs cousin Jessica was in town. It was nice to have her here. We shopped more than I should of but it was good. I also met a friend and she is VERY cool and has the same hair as me. She is a stylist and we are going to start crafting this week. We are starting with jean skirts that are BOHO. I really want to get my websight up and going. I have more hours at work too which is good, I need them. I miss home but I am liking it here to. miss all my friends and family. ann
