Another Monday....

Sunny agian today but sticky also. I went thrifting all morning. I am try to decide what to do with the websight. I am really considering selling vintage clothing on there. I have found a dress that is worth about 350.00 and I really think that is what I should sell. I will also create my own things also. I was checking out some vintage clothing websights and they make so much money selling older clothing. I may give it a try. Email me with any feedback or what you would like to see on my websight. Feedback would be great! Vintage wedding dresses perhaps.....dresses and scarfs. I just want to make it cool but not to spendy. Well I watch sex and the city last night for 3 hours. That show is so addicting and I can watch it over and over agian. If you have not watched it ever check it out. I promise I am usually not into shows that everyone else loves but this one has won me over. I am feeling better today and maybe that is why.
I hope that soon Greg and I can go to Graceland. It is only 3 hours away from here. So if an of you want to visit we can go there or how about Dollyworld! I hear that is fun also. 6 flags.....the fun here is endless so COME VISIT!

It is funny Greg took this and I tried to look normal i look weirder but when you try to look normal is always makes I look even more weird. It is also so strange to see my tattoos in pictures. I love them but it is sometimes just weird seeing them on me. My hair is finally getting longer. Today was a good day. Greg and I went thrifting my favorite thing to do. I got this really great food prossesor. I cut my finger on the blade. It was REALLY sharp even though it was about 10 years old. I really understand why I never became a nurse. Greg did well at calming me down. It is pretty deep but I think I will survive. Miss all of you. ann

MY own websight has been started!

I am thrilled. Check out www.annrocks.com Greg created the cartoon of me. It is really cool. Coming soon hand made and high end clothing. I talked to Ava and Lennon and they are doing well. As usual Lennon thinks I am made of money and so now I have a long list of things he needs which I can get him some of but not all. Today I am off work but somehow I now work all weekend. Greg is on break now and we have been sleeping in!

Man,
When you have nothing to do sleeping in can become a fast habit. We just got up. It is 11am. I know that Greg has sleep to catch up on but I really have no excuse except for I really like sleeping. I have decided it is something that I really really enjoy. Af for today on the agenda. Mailing my ebay packages. I have been doing pretty well selling on there and I have found a secret thrift store that looks really crummy but has high end really great stuff. It is where I got my little pink cruiser bike for 5.99. Anyways after the post office my morning ice late from the local coffee house across the street from the post office. It is full of sad poet emo kids that work there so the experience of going in there is never cheerful but the coffee is so good I can not pass it up. Greg has given up coffee for ice tea. I am proud of him now to the quitting smoking........it will happen. I am still a non smoker but I love my coffee and will not be giving that up. Pierre and Aimlee have been running around most of the am. Due to the size of our small apartment the kitty is going a little stur crazy. Someday maybe she can go outside but not here. The street our front is to busy. So off to start my day. I hope everyone that reads this has a good day. I am looking forward to my friends visiting. Tickets are 180.00 and about 200. with tax. I have not seen cheaper so same some cash and come visit y'all. love ,ann

Good day sunshine

Sweet tea. No from the south then you may not know what it is. Southerners seem to think it is something original .It is just tea with way to much sugar in it. It is not getting to hot here yet. The weather has been warm but It has not been to hellish YET! But I know that is to come. Funny when we where leaving Mpls to come to Atlant how happy we where to leave then once we got here we realized that Mpls is not really that bad. People are much nicer here but none of my friends are here. I have met some cool people. One of my customers is the ex boyfriend of on of the band members of "BOOK OF LOVE" an old 1990's band. I thought that was pretty cool. Anyways Greg is cleaning the house and I better join in. much love, ann

Another day another dollar and Greg and homework.....

Today I worked. It was really quiet. I made lots of yummy treats though. I have been doing incredibly well at not eating crap when working and believe me there is lots to eat there and it is really really good. speaking of work I found out today that one of the former owners of my work was Amy from the Indigo Girls. I thought that was pretty cool since they are one of my favorite bands. Also Jeffery my buddy from hell's kitchen got asked to try out for a cartoon on cartoon networks adult swim. I see nothing but wonderful things coming his was. He deserves it he is a very special person. This weekend our apartment building is having a yard sale. I know those of you that really know me do not find it hard to believe that I have found loads of things to put outside. It should be fun. Sitting in the sun with our cool neighbors and drinking beer. Mind you I will be leaving for a little while to sale for myself. The sun is getting much much hotter and I would like to say that I LOVE the person that invented the air conditioner. They are the coolest! Just like GREG! Go Greg Go do that homework. Bonarooooooooo!

It was fun. I would love to recomend Iron and Wine to everyone. They are a great band. I realized I am not the biggest fan of jam bands. It is a sad fact since that is what most weekend camping fun consists of. I still had a fun time. I stayed clear from Dave Mathews band and I was fine. Greg is still doing homework. On the ride home I got lost and ended up in Nashville. It was kinda funny but kinda NOT. I was alone with no cell phone and very tired. I am recovering today. I made up this weekend for the lack of partying in my life. I will post some pictures on here. check out lower right hand corner. I am glad to be home. Now it is time to find a 2nd job. I can not longer work only 2 days a week. much love. ann

Headed to the festival just in time

Greg is busy with school work. It is time for me to get out of his way and head to the Bonnaroo music festival. Back later next week. Excited to see Toots and also Modest Mouse. It is getting hotter.....

Ok so I hate the hot sun. I always have and so does Greg. This is not the ideal place to live if you hate the heat. I am counting down the days. YES It is true I would rather have the snow. The people here are so much nicer than in Minneapolis. Our little black kids are hating the heat also. Lots of laziness going on around here. much love. ann

Hotlanta

i am understanding the nickname after today. Humidity is 95%. I am sweating just sitting still. Even thought it is so hot i decided to take a bike ride. Dumb Idea but I love my little pink cruiser more that before. I have already gotten my 5.99 back in fun! One more weekend and i am going to the bonnaroo festival. I am excited. Finally a vacation from this hard life in Atlanta. Just kidding, I am only working 2 days a week and the rest of the time I craft, sew , read and watch movies. Feels like I am on a vacation here. I just miss my friends a lot. As usual Greg is at school. The boy is working so hard it is amazing! He is the hardest working person i have ever met. i feel honored to be married to such a wonderful person.

Its been a good day

I have had my eye on this bike lately. It is about 250.00 and I have been putting off buying it due to the fact that I am not working much. Today I left the house to fun some errands. Before leaving I told Greg" honey maybe I just want a cheap little pink cruiser". I walk into the thrift store today and RIGHT THERE! my pink cruiser for 5.99 YES five dollars and 99 cents! I could not believe it. I will post a picture of it. That just really made me realize that sometimes if you put things out into the universe they will happen. This bike was ment to be mine. It just was I knew it. THEN I decided to pick up a fresh juice on the way home at the local juicer. Juices are usually 3.00 each but today they had made to many and they marked them down tot 1.00 each for really great fresh squeezed juices. I bought 10 of course. They are bottles and sold locally to the stores and they are packaged to last a week. So those where the cool things that happened today. I did though go into the local hair care dread place and they want 125.00 to do my hair and in Minneapolis it is 25.00 So needless to say Greg will be doing my hair because I refuse to pay 125.00 to get my hair maintence done. Oh and Pierre has decided he loves cat poop! That is something he has never done and we are working on stopping that asap. I miss the minneapolis thrift stores. So you all can catch up on your thrift shopping while I am gone. I am not there to take all the good stuff. Miss you, ann

Neighbor from hell

I did not sleep much last night. The upstairs neighbors where making some noise. The real trouble if from the lady (I will not say what I REALLY want to call her) downstairs. Anytime almost any noise is made up here she bangs on the floor with her broom handle. For example yesterday a magazine fell on the floor SHE BANGS, mini trash can tipped over she bangs,,,,,etc etc etc. It is pretty much driving us crazy because we walk around here with no shoes on. We play music really quiet and Greg has to much homework and stress to deal with crazy lady downstairs. See here in Atlanta there is no cold cold weather. SO they chose not to insulate their building well so everyone can hear everything. We just happened to live above the lady that complains about everthing. Anyways I just had to vent. All is well here besides that. Next apartment will will not be above anyone. We have only been here about 2 months and are already talking about the next place we will be moving. How sad. Today I have off. Greg has homework so I am off to the thrift stores to find stuff for ebay. I love days like today. Shopping is my high. Have a good day You all. Ann

Back pain

I guess I have not mentioned yet that a week after I got here I was in a car accident. Not with my car. This lady I know (I dont want to go into details about here because it may not be nice and what if she ever read this........ We where rearended but i have not really felt the same since in my neck and back
. The traffic here is crazy. Almost no one obeys the speed limit. It is always at least 80 on the freeway. I have chosen to (so I thought) avoid all of that by walking everywhere and just let Greg have the car everyday. Rain agian today. I kinda like it.
